Alexander Seton, 1st Lord Fyvie - who links to Alexander Seton, 1st Earl of Dunfermline, are they the same guy? - wasn't even born in 1533, and the date is also out of order; there's obviously something wrong here. And what about John Hamilton-Leslie, 9th Earl of Rothes? Wasn't he in this office, too? Either the list here or the article about the earl is wrong, but which? - --VM 11:54, 19 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

As I noted in the article on the 9th Earl of Rothes, the Concise DNB records him as Keeper in 1704, but other sources do not. I have not had time to investigate the discrepancy.--George Burgess 12:41, 19 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
