Who bears responsibility for setting up these categories? In particular, who bears responsibility for setting up Allah as "a god" of the same stripe as Jove? 金 14:11, 4 Jun 2004 (UTC)

It caused a slight raising of the eyebrows here, too. It would reduce the incongruousness of that inclusion if Trinity and Jehova were categorised here along with Him. –Hajor 14:32, 4 Jun 2004 (UTC)

gods & godesses

Splitting up in male and female is a sin from Indoeuropean languages. In many languages there is no implicit gender. And since gods are supposed to be almighty and can change gender, or the same name can refer to a god in one and a goddess in a neighbouring culture, I would like to suggest to do away with this artificial and unhandy division. √k 26 feb 2006 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.58.58.5 (talk) 07:43, 26 February 2006
