Hangover explanation
[edit]This article deserves a mention of parpsmia during hangovers. Anecdotal evidence suggests that during extreme hangovers, people may have one or more of their senses distorted to the point of unrecognizably. Every-day objects may appear particularly ugly, typical sounds may become highly irritating and every day smells seem amplified to the point of nausea-induction. I suggest that no research has been undertaken into the mechanisms behind this for a variety of reasons, but it is fairly prevalent from my experience. Can anybody dig up some research into this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hayaku (talk • contribs) 09:09, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
