Bob Weston, not Bob Welch
[edit]To my knowledge, the abrupt end of the tour for Fleetwood Mac's previous album, "Mystery to Me" was because slide guitarist Bob Weston (not to be confused with lead guitarist Bob Welch) had been having an affair with Mick Fleetwood's wife, Jenny Boyd, leading to the Mick and Jenny's first divorce.
Some accounts claim Mick knocked Weston unconscious, but the IMO more-credible version has Mick calling the McVies and Welch into a room for a meeting behind Weston's back and Mick saying that he couldn't continue the tour knowing what he knew, leading to the group flying back to England (leading to the entire fandango with Clifford Davis and the "Fakewood Mac" players, who later became Stretch) but NOT formally disbanding.
The decision to have Welch leave at the end of 1974 was AFAIK entirely different. Please consider revising the information on this album to reflect it. Thank you. 2600:1700:F070:AB10:5047:3F8A:678C:578C (talk) 17:46, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
