Fair use rationale for Image:Pyat rublei 1997.jpg

[edit]

Image:Pyat rublei 1997.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Data Table

[edit]

Personal income data in 2005 International Dollars (U.S. dollar currency) was added. Permission was obtained through email from editors@worldsalaries.org to reproduce data on wikipedia. --Cypoet (talk) 04:24, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that the data that you entered is per capita personal income, not total personal income, so I removed it. I would have moved it to the Per capita income page, but there's already a data table there which has a different source and different data from what you've got here, and I'm staying out of that one.QuixoticKate (talk) 21:11, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Total Personal income refers to the total income from all sources (social security, pension, salary, business, property) at the personal level. Per capita income is the sum of (total personal income + owner-imputed-rent income + corporate income + corporate-owner-imputed-rent income + government income)/(number of people). "Per capita total personal income" might seem redundant. Revert has been reverted (specifying it is per capita) but we can look into creating another page with the title "total personal income per capita (list of countries)". --Cypoet (talk) 06:08, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
"Per capita income" refers to a variety of figures, including "per capita personal income," which is derived from total personal income, i.e., the figures in the chart you have provided. (Source) In any event, I've cleaned up the chart and moved it to a separate page.QuixoticKate (talk) 18:16, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I renamed the page to list of countries by per capita personal income - based on the source you provided, this seems to be the best title —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cypoet (talkcontribs) 12:49, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
