Desaturase clause
[edit]Just wanted to know I edited the "desaturase" clause. It said something like "humans must get alpha-linoleic acid from their diets because they lack desaturase enzyme to convert stearic acid". I believe what is meant by this is that if humans had desaturase they could metabolically convert stearic acid into A-L-acid, but it might not be obvious. So I added "stearic acid... into alpha-linoleic acid"
Baking temperature
[edit]Reference 6 is claimed to imply that ALA is not stable under baking conditions. Reference 6 however does not support that claim and says quite the opposite. 163.1.36.220 (talk) 14:08, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
