Format of towns/villages
[edit]Why were my changes reverted? I don't see why
- They need to be in a long vertical list.
- The format needs to be html, rather than Wikimedia table format
- Most importantly, the images have no captions, which for some reason I don't understand makes them appear on top of the table in my browser.

Copyright
[edit]The history section of this article is copied verbatim from this page. The page is listed under the external links section, but is it acceptable simply to copy off word for word even so? --Hinakana (talk) 11:12, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Radiation

Looking for help
[edit]Greetings: My name is Ivan Robaina Bychko, I am a 19 years old Cuban wikipedian who is very interested in Japanese history and culture. Currently I am working in several articles about Japan in Spanish wikipedia, also I am writing an article about your country for Santiago University (Universidad de Oriente). I kindly would like to have your help to make clear certain points about current Japan that are not very easy to find at another wikipedias. As my internet connectivity is very limited, you should write to me at my e-mail accaont if you are interested in helping me. I would be very grateful if you could help me. Greetings, Ivan — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.220.215.13 (talk) 03:53, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
Help needed - 'Notable people' section
[edit]All run together, without any spacing on a single line in this section, were the entries:
which I have now changed to:
- Manabu Kubota{{cn|date=June 2021}}
- FチョッパーKOGA {{clarify|date=June 2021|reason=see talk}}
I am not sure what the Japanese refers to, so I could not do much to disambiguate the Assembly Member link (which is what I came to do, via the DAB lists.) Hoping someone can fix. Thanks. 49.177.73.238 (talk) 07:16, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Worked out that the Japanese script refers to F Chopper Koga! Have now linked to that article, but of course, that means that the links to Tachikawa, Tokyo and Assembly Member are nothing to do with the Japanese name. And Manabu Kubota is a soccer player ... Any ideas? 49.177.30.125 (talk) 12:59, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
Etymology
[edit]Isn't it a bit strange in the History chapter, especially in the Etymology sub chapter, in the second paragraph of the Etymology sub chapter, I don't think it is related to Etymology, the second paragraph seems to explain more about the train station. Shouldn't the second paragraph be deleted or moved to the transportation chapter?
Also, even though there is no official rule, isn't it a bit weird alsou about the order of the chapters. From what I suggest, the order should be as: == Overview ==, == History ==, == Etymology ==, == Geography==. Thank you. Dimas Laksani (talk) 03:49, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
