First and second colonial treasurer
[edit]Is there a reason why the list of ministers starts with Dillon Bell? What about the first and second colonial treasurer?
- George Cooper (3 May 1841 – 9 May 1841)
- Alexander Shepherd (9 May 1841 – 7 May 1856)
Or am I missing something? Schwede66 20:41, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- For your information, a note about the above was also posted on the politics task force talk page as well as the creator of this page. As nobody's said anything to the contrary, I shall:
- update this page, and
- amend the numbering of the finance ministers on those pages that show the order in the infobox.
- Thanks. Schwede66 21:43, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
- The only explanation I can think of is that the two above are pre-Parliamentary - i.e. when New Zealand was a direct colony (c. 1841 - 1853). --Lholden (talk) 22:51, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
