[edit]this article refers to Austian national socialism, an -ism or ideology. But why does it have the info for the specific party. The party should have its own wikisite with a link from here. Lihaas (talk) 10:41, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
This site needs to be renamed "Austrian Nazism" and this a spin off from the article Early National Socialism/draft. I don't believe you did this Andy. First you steal my work, redirect the article and place my work in your Nazi article. you tell me that I can not make "National Socialism" an article all by itself and then you make another article called Early National Socialism. I don't beleive this. This is not right.WHEELER 22:59, 28 Jun 2004 (UTC)
"Steal your work"? What a silly thing to say. Work on wikipedia doesn't belong to any individual. There's nothing to steal. AndyL 13:13, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)
It is plain and simple, You stole my work Andy. You have no manners nor etiquette. You did not consult me and you did not ask. You lay down the law for me, but then you do what ever you please. I am going above your head now. You did not act rightly towards me.WHEELER 13:47, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)
You have no manners, and no virtue Andy. Like you are some kind of authority which you are not.WHEELER 14:40, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)
I WANT TO LET EVERYONE WHO COMES HERE TO KNOW THAT ANDY STOLE THIS MATERIAL FROM AN ARTICLE I DID, DELETED THE ORGINAL WORK, MOVED IT FIRST TO THE NAZISM ARTICLE AND THEN MADE A SEPERATE ARTICLE ON THIS. THIS IS STOLEN MATERIAL. THIS IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCALLED FOR. AND HE IS AN ADMINISTRATOR. WHEELER 23:19, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)
WHEELER, you are leaving me little alternative but to complain about your personal attack above. I will give you 24 hours to formally retract your comments and apologise.
Wikipedia is a collaborative effort, the articles on it "belong" to no one and are not written in anyone's name. I can't "steal" an article first of all because it doesn't belong to you and secondly because I'm not claiming it as my own. How can something be stolen when it doesn't belong to anyone and when the "thief" doesn't put it in his possession or claim it as his own?
Perhaps if you stopped having such a possessive attitude to wikipedia and stopped considering an article to be "yours" you wouldn't constantly find yourself in conflict?
All I did is salvage the one small part of your article that wasn't POV. Perhaps you prefer the alternative which is the current move to simply have your article deleted entirely?AndyL 05:35, 30 Jun 2004 (UTC)
name change to Austrian Nazism
[edit]this article should be changed in title to "Austrian Nazism." The term National Socialism in English isn't widely used except rarely or by Neo-nazis themselves.Tallicfan20 (talk) 02:00, 18 January 2010 (UTC) The official term for "Nazi" is "National Socialist", their ideology was called "National Socialism", not "Nazism". The term "Nazi" is a German slang word for members or supporters of the NSDAP, like calling a Democrat "Dem" or a Republican "Rep", or in German calling a Socialist a "Sozi". This doesn't mean that Nazis never used the word "Nazis" for themselves, but only in an inofficial slang, like in articles in early Nazi newspapers, where they used the language of their opponents to respond their critics (in the style of "we, the Nazi, are not that bad", they normally used "Nazi" even as the plural form, which is different in modern German, where "Nazis" is the plural). The term "Nazism" is completely artifical and very unscientific. 13:34 02-01-2013 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.118.92.196 (talk) 12:40, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
