Early Life
Cristian Diaz known as Street Poet was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in a Puerto Rican family, he was immersed in a rich cultural environment that influenced his artistic expression.
Career
Initially starting in the secular music scene, Street Poet found success with his unique sound and lyrical style. However, in 2022, he underwent a profound spiritual transformation and became a born-again Christian. This pivotal moment led him to leave his worldly lifestyle behind and redirect his focus toward creating music that aligns with his faith.
Transformation to Christian Hip Hop
Following his conversion, Street Poet embraced Christian hip hop, aiming to inspire others through his music. His lyrics now reflect his journey of faith, redemption, and the message of hope found in Christianity.
